OUTREACH PROGRAMS

VCT’s Educational Outreach programming exposes young people to the craft of theatre, fosters creativity and develops critical thinking skills that instill discipline, enhance self-esteem and promote team building.

VCT OUTREACH provides theatre education outreach in numerous low income schools and community based organizations. Call VCT at 540-400-7795 or email kate@virginiachildrenstheatre.orgfor information about bringing VCT teaching artists to your school or center or about scheduling your pre-school or daycare for a special custom made workshop at our theatre. We can either come to you or you can come visit us at the theatre!

We hope to provide arts education in a variety of forms: singing, movement, painting, spoken word, acting and musical instrumentation.

As per Kaleidoscope's mission, Club K will focus on providing individuals with special needs a unique and creative fine arts experience, growing the confidence and spirits of all and igniting the conversation and redefining “disability” into “exceptional ability” within participants, students, staff, and even more so, the community.
